Nancy McBride began working for Commissioner Boyer in the Spring of 2003. A graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Nancy and her family moved to Georgia in 1984. She became involved with the Gwinnett County School system as a volunteer at the schools of her four, now grown children, and then worked at Rebecca Minor Elementary for 10 years, as an instructional clerk. She is enjoying the change of pace and scene that District 1 DeKalb County has to offer. Always fascinated by local and world politics, working alongside the Commissioner has given her a chance to put her interests to work.
